These were personal projects made in my own time:

Skulptur 23 was a project for the Kröller-Müller Museum. It has been on display in the museum’s visitor centre since June 2011.

5 to 12 was shown among the finalists for the One Minute film competition at the Ghent Film Festival in 2012.

I made a mini stop-motion documentary (Animation) about production work for “Cheatin’” at Plymptoons, inc. 2012.

Vernieuwing (2016) was shown at the Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) for the student competition on March 22, 2017.

Part of Bon Voyage was shown in the exhibition “Tekeningen van Thea en Marianne” at the Firma van Drie in Gouda, October 2019.

Birthday in Times of Corona was shown under the name “Oma” on the Cinesud Quarantaine Film Stories showcase, July 1 2020:

The final version of Bon Voyage was shown in November 2020 together with the collage (made by Marianne Bos) that formed the base of the film, at the Haagse Kunstkring for the exhibition “We zien wel waar het schip strandt”, an exhibition for comics, cartoons, and other kinds of visual storytelling media.

I lived in five different countries (Nigeria, Colombia, Venezuela, England and the Netherlands), where I was exposed to different languages and cultures that have influenced my work.

I create animated shorts for digital media, using music and making cross-references between current affairs and (art) history.
